Significant Milestones in Oil Production Technology
There have been significant changes in technology in the production of oil since its first production as you will read more here. Because of its importance in our lives, it is best if we take a look at the changes that have taken place since it was discovered. In the past, in Ancient Mesopotamia bitumen a hardened substance was used in ship construction and holding jewelry together. In Egypt, it was used to solidify the famous pyramids. Because the world was getting ready for the first war, the need for oil skyrocketed leading to the development of better oil tools as a result of competition. However, they are advanced technologically as they are fitted with digital tracking devices, touchpads and video control to monitor and access the rigs from a fur.
